Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use gamedeck. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn that a user is under 13, we will promptly delete their account and associated data.

2. Your Account

When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You're responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@gamedeck.gg.

You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.

3. What You Can Do

gamedeck grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for its intended purposes: tracking your game library, writing reviews, creating lists, following other users, and sharing your gaming profile.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Post content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit, or illegal
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Spam, advertise, or solicit other users without permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from gamedeck without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure
• Use gamedeck for any unlawful purpose

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, at our sole discretion.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create on gamedeck, including reviews, ratings, lists, bios, and profile information ("Your Content"). By posting Your Content, you grant gamedeck a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute Your Content in connection with operating and promoting the platform.

You can delete Your Content at any time. When you do, we will remove it from public view promptly, though cached or archived copies may persist briefly.

6. Intellectual Property

gamedeck's name, logo, design, and underlying code are the property of Victor Iglesias. Game metadata (titles, artwork, descriptions) is sourced from third-party databases like IGDB and remains the property of their respective owners.

7. Third-Party Services

gamedeck integrates with third-party services including Google for sign-in, IGDB for game metadata, and optional Steam import when that connection is available. Your use of these services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. gamedeck is not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

8. Service Availability

gamedeck is currently a free platform. We may introduce paid features in the future, but we will never retroactively charge for features that were free when you used them.

We do our best to keep gamedeck available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime.

9. Account Termination

You can request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@gamedeck.gg from the email address tied to your account. Self-serve account deletion is not available yet. We will handle deletion requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

gamedeck is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Victor Iglesias and gamedeck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of gamedeck.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
