Square Enix Creative Business Unit III

Formerly known as Business Division 5, an internal development division within Square Enix. Headed by Naoki Yoshida, Creative Business Unit III develops and maintains both Final Fantasy MMOs, as well as the Dragon Quest Builders series. In 2020, Square Enix announced that Creative Business Unit III was developing Final Fantasy XVI. In May 16th, 2024 it was revealed Creative Business Unit III was renamed Creative Studio III with a re-prioritization strategy within the corporation.
